Dalian Maritime University (DMU) is the only institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Transport of China and is among the first batch of universities designated under the "211 Project" and the "Double First-Class" Initiative in the country. The ESMD@ DLMU team primarily engages in fundamental research and engineering applications of flow battery energy storage technology. Currently, the team consists of 6 faculty members and over 60 graduate students pursuing their studies. It has published over 50 articles in journals such as Angewandte Chemie and Advanced Materials, applied for over 100 patents, and participated in formulating 6 national and industry standards.
